Power Outlet Question

Power Outlet Question
Hey everyone, just a quick question, and you may have to check your vehicle to answer... Ok so the power outlet next to the coin tray... I recently bought a Zune and a Belkin FM Transmitter/Dock... After trying to plug it, I have noticed that the power outlet rotates 360 degrees... This is causing the very firmly attached Zune plug to rotate and fall to the side... The booklet it came with said to contact the dealer if this is an issue...
My question is... do yours rotate freely or are they locked in place? Is it supposed to rotate? You may have to (and I know this sounds dangerous) but just stick the tip of your finger in the outlet and see if it will rotate...
Thanks for any help guys, I'm in a last ditch effort here. Spent over 300 for everything just so I can have some MP3s in my car and this crap! A bad power outlet!

I spent $450 on my iPod video and iTrip, and someone stole it, so don't feel too bad. There's actually a big screw on the back of outlet, it gets loose after time. I've had to screw mine in twice. If you screw it on, it should make it stationary.

It's a long story, but it wasn't in my car. One of my friends borrowed it, and one of his friends had really sticky fingers, and traded it for some Ice.
I didn't even get any of the Ice. lol

Oh, you won't have to stick your finger in anything. If you have AIM, get on it, and I'll tell you exactly what's needed to do. my AIM is AccordMonster.

but that's just me, for the zune, consider a headunit with aux.

Help Please
Ok, so I have everything off... as you can see below...
Ok, so here is a close up of the power outlet plug.
You can see the electrical plugs which I disconnected, and the silver sleeve is the actual power outlet.... I see what looks to be threads at the end but no nut!
Here is a close up of the look alike threads and otherside of the plug
Also, after twisting it around a few times it seems to be getting tighter, is this something I have to do by hand or am I missing a nut? I don't think that is possible because it would just be sitting there on the wire before I disconnected it.
Any help would be so appreciated guys, I'm like 95% close to having my Zune set up and this would make it 100% Thanks in advance

I may take it apart again if it gives me any more trouble.

Glad to find this thread; fixed mine today. But instead of using a thread seizing compound, I wrapped teflon tape around the threads on the male sleeve, and screwed the pieces together for a nice snug fit. Something about the permanent nature of the seizing compound that I didn't like, just in case the entire tray needs to be removed some day. If it loosens again, I'll do the permanent fix.
One tip for final tightening is to press a flat-head screwdriver against one of the ridges on the female sleeve. You can hold the male sleeve in place while pushing the ridge on the female sleeve to tighten.
Kinda poor execution by Acura on the design of this. These things are bound to come loose by themselves.
