Power consumption
Whenever i run my radar detector, radio and 180 watt power inverter for my laptop, i blow a fuse. It usually takes a while - last time it happened i was good for about 4 hours - but eventually the fuse for the cig lighter/power outlets and stereo blows. Is there any way around this?

I believe the radio and cig power outlet are both connected to a 15 amp fuse.
14 volts X 15 amps = 210 watts
You could probably put a 20 amp fuse in there but I wouldn't reccomend it because the wires might not be able to handle the excess power draw. I would look into running some wires from the battery, through the firewall and into the cabin.
I have returned after not having net access for 3 weeks and only being a lurker at work WHAT TORTURE!!
