Powder Coating Brake Calipers; Is it worth it?
I am considering upgrading calipers and want to paint them black, but I had bad experience with caliper paint before and am considering powdercoating. A few questions:
1. Will powdercoating hold up long term? If so, how long?
2. What can I expect to pay to powercoat 4 calipers?
3. What are some good places in the Phila area to get it done?
I searched and most of the results were regarding wheels, not calipers.

These guys do powdercoating: http://www.boneheadperformance.com/powdercoating/
They did my intake and did a great job. They are in Morrisville, PA near Yardley
As for costs, keep in mind if you buy used calipers you will have to buy a rebuild kit for the calipers as they will have remove most of the internals to powdercoat. Otherwise all the gaskets would melt and the piston would not move.

I tried this question in an earlier post. You can search for it to see what response I got.
There is a place here in NJ that will do it for you. I will try to get the name and address for you.
let us know if you do end up finding a place to do it.
http://www.jet-hot.com will do it for you but will require you to ship them your calipers.
good luck
