possible ghetto way to fix if your CD wont eject

On the way to the dealer to get my tranny checked, i dropped of my gf at home. She wanted to borrow a couple of CDs so i said sure just press the eject button. She did and the fukkin CD wont come out and the display shows ER-E01 i was like FUKK my CD player is fukked too!! so i kept trying to eject it but it wont come out.. even tried ejecting all by holding it down, but still no luck. Im like great now i gotta listen to the radio.

Later on that night i decided to try something, which was to bang the right side of it while pressing eject, i did and VOILA it worked. lolz .. it works perfect now.

so for any of you that may have this problem in the future, try banging on the right side of the changer and press eject at the same time it MAY work.

I swear its this hot ass weather we're having thats causing the car to act like this. yesterdays high 35Celcius.. whooooo..

yeah homemade CD's w labels tend to get stuck in my player. just hit eject and when its trying to come out push the CD a little with a pen and it should come out.

i whip out my pocket knife from the center console, open the blade, insert into the slot and push down on the front edge of the disc.

i'm getting pretty good at it.

I used tweezers last time it got stuck in there. I hope that didn't harm the CD player!

if you burn CD's they stick a lot of the time because they are a hair thicker than normal cds, and the front catches on the little door part that opens up. just keep a small knife or something similar in the car and gently push the door up and the cd will pop right out.

no need to resort to violence.
