You can have it chromed at http://www.rbchroming.com
or polished at http://www.mirrorfinishpolishing.com/

Both reputable places from SupraForums... and they do great work...

(BTW, Chrome is easier to clean than Polished items. It might be a bit more expensive, but its worth it in the end. You can let it sit for a year, wipe it off and its still nice and shiny while polishing will have water spots on it and so on.)

Plus it adds metal to the dimensions....may have fitting issues post chrome.

Unnecessary and ghetto.

I'll have to get a pic of the Plenums installed. It almost looks like I have a polished engine because they are polished. It looks mean. But again I never open my hood so

Lots of people powdercoated their intakes when I owned my SHO. Looks really nice. I think I'd go that route as it gives you the option of lots of color combos and resists heat-soak.

I was expecting someone to say this. The thing with that is that it actually comes out pretty close to stock (if not a tad bit lighter) as they have to polish the parts first and then chrome them. And the amount of total metal the add on is thinner than a human hair so I cant see it weighing a lot. Now if you are a freak about weight, and are more worried about the 1/10 of a pound that you MAY add to the total weight, then you my friend, are just plain crazy. LOL (NOT calling YOU crazy but rather the people who are going to read this somewhere down the road and argue that I am wrong. I researched this a bit I might add...)

I would much rather chrome something than to have it polished as I see first hand under my Supra's hood the difference between Chroming and Polishing.

If you just polish a part to a mirror shine, be prepared to keep polishing it to keep it clean, spot free, and shiny. Oh and if you wash your engine, you have to make sure that its cold and that you wipe off the water from polished parts right away as they will leave water marks that are hard as hell to get rid of.

Chrome on the other hand I just wipe off with a moist rag and then with a dry rag and its done. The chrome parts under my hood still look like the day they were put it.
