the m-12's are higher wattage WHEN BLINKING compared to the m-14's. since the bulbs are double filament, the brightness when the signals are just on are the same on the m-12's and m-14's(like 15w or something), but the higher wattage means the m-12's blink brighter(45w compared to 35 or something). i have the m-14's and it's no big difference. hope i explained it clear enough.
