Polar g road lamps burned out
Well, both my PolarG road lamps finally burned out. Of course, they were swelled up like crazy so they had to be busted out.
I forgot who posted it orginally, but the lamp assembly is easy to get out. Just insert a longish phillips screwdriver in thru the lower air intake on the bumper and undo the screw on the roadlamp. Then unhook the snaps from underneath and the whole thing pops out.
This is the only way to get out the old swelled up bulbs. You can then bust the neck off the bulb with needlenose pliers and the rest of the bulb will break up and shake out the hole.
Now I have regular wedge bulbs, but I went with amber this time. I figured they didn't look like I tried to match.
