Dont think mine will do any good to check, they were only on for 8K and now they reside up in the attic

but I'd love to hear what the members on stock springs have to say!

I guess ideally this entire spring issue should have been one big MEGA-POLL, but we’ll leave it like this for a while.
If we merge them now, all the responses would probably get jumbled together.

I’ll sticky it for a week or so until we get some feedback.

I have my stock springs in my basement that made it through ~1 year, 1 PA winter, and ~10K miles before I changed them out for the Comptechs. They're a bit dirty, but no rust.

I just looked at mine the other day at my parents house. They've been on the car for about 35k and seem to be in perfect condition.

I looked prior to this poll because of the other polls and mine are just dirty. I wiped my finger across my drivers side rear and its still shiny black under the dust. I live with PA winters but I don't drive my car in harsh weather(it stays covered). Almost forgot I have almost 16K miles

I changed my original springs at apromimately 35k for H&R sports. I just checked em in the garage in the H&R box and found that they are all fine. I live in CT.

OK, the stock springs seem to be doing fine except for minor rusting.
I guess I’ll de-sticky this thread now since we have collected enough data.

All of the stock springs should be just fine as they are powder coated with an epoxy powder coating.

Morton powder coatings (now Rohm and Haas) pioneered the technology back around 1995.

When PC epoxy is used, epoxy is the king of corrosion and chemical resistance. Not good in sunlight, but that is of little to no consideration here.

This is a good example of matching the correct chemistry to the application.
