Hey, Im CJ (over @ the 1st gen sect.) and I've got a favor to ask, if someone could please help me out.

What I need to know is the length of the 2nd gen CL trunk lid. (ie. the very end/tip, before the trunk drops towards the ground....Like where spoilers go. The thing is, the length has to follow the last curve in the trunk, like as it bends around in the middle)

If someone could help me out, id greatly appricate it.

Basically Im needing the dimensions so i can figure out if its the same length as my 1st gen trunk lid. To see if something would fit...

ummm oookkk...nevermind then...i guess i'll just go find a 2nd gen in a parking lot and hopefully dont get caught/introuble trying to measure someone elses car....

from left to right, driver's side to passenger side along the rear upper edge - if that is what you mean - up under my spoiler is 47 inches. That is trunk only, no fender included. Is that what you want?

yea basically...thanks sooo much for helpin out. (i wish i could of posted up a picture cuz it would of been easier to understand)

Basically, if you were to pop your trunk open and measure from one end to the other (@ the very lip/end of the trunk where spoilers go) thats where i was talkin about...

thanks again!! now hopefully my trunk is close to the same size, so not much custom work will have to be done..
