Please Help Identify This Sound (Video)

Hey All

Lately, when I drive over small bumps in the road there is a knocking, clunking sound coming from both front left/right sides. Doesn't matter which tire I hit bumps with, I get a clunking sound.

From reading on here I am thinking its one of the bushings that I have highlighted in the pic below. Everything I have highlighted orange, I already ordered new and should be arriving via Fedex Today.

My car has 166,000mi and got new shocks/struts last year so I doubt that they have gone bad already.

My car sounded just like yours!

I just changed my driverside swaybar link using this trick http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKJHodYxbj8

A couple notes-

1) I used a ramp, (not a jackstand) and had no issues with the alignment of the sway bar to link to lower arm. The new link went right in.
2) If you bought OEM sway links with self locking nuts, like I did, these nuts were new to me- i thought the threading was wrong, but it was just the self-locking nature.

The knocking has gotten much better, but I think I will be changing out the passenger side link this weekend to hopefully rid the clunking once and for all! Good luck! The nuts are super rusty. Get ready for sore forearms!

Thanks! Awesome Info and Video! I also purchased the Moog ones. Going to see if I get it done this weekend.
