Please Help!

Hello and thank you for reading! I have a 6cyl 2001 acura cl and before i get any further i want to say that the d5 light has flashed once or twice before what happened! So the other day i was in an accident, i was moving forward out of a parking lot and ran into a truck. I wasnt going more than 10 mph but he got me pretty good. After the accident the d5 light has started flashing and will not go away this time. Also when it is in d5 it acts like it is having a hard time taking off, and the paddle shifter will not work. When, however, I manually put it into first gear it takes off fine, shift into second but that the thing, it skips second 3rd and 4th and i believe 5th work. Just need to know if I need to start looking for a cheap car

All jokes aside... yeah... seems like the tranny is toast. Not uncommon for that model.
