Please comment on this brake setup.

At 69,000 on my 2001 CL-S, my second set of OEM front rotors are warped a bit (along with a "shimmy" under hard braking). After some contemplation, decided not to purchase a BBK- too much money for the results. After looking in this forum and at www.tirerack.com, the following setup seems to make sense:

1. Power Slot Cryo-treated rotors for front (they do not make rears and believe my current OEM rear rotors are OK). Should reduce rotor were significantly.

2. Hawk Performance Ceramic pads (fronts for 1995 Legend; see below & rears for CL-S) - better performance than stock, without the downsides (noise and dust). At www.powerslot.com, Hawk brakes seem to be connected to the company, so believe they test both products together. Also, there were several very happy customers at www.tirerack.com using both products together.

3. 1995 Legend calipers for the front. Two piston calipers vs. one stock.

4. G2 Caliper Paint system from www.tirerack.com. in black.

5. Also, any comments on Tirerack Tire Totes and Wheel felts?

Thanks for your consideration.

P.S.: Saw the thread with the 2000-2001 TL front spoiler lip installed on a CL - DjTrancesponders silver CL-S looks awesome. This is the visual upgrade I have been looking for. Believe I have an idea to address reality of having to cut the lip in half to widen without having to make a new mold!

1. They're fine. I don't know if they're drilled/slotted, but if they aren't, brembo blanks are just fine too - for cheaper.
2. Can't comment as I've never tried them.
3. Not a whole lot to gain from that. Same rotor size, same pad swept area. Longer pedal travel. You make the call..
4. Never used it either..
