On the way back from my parents house over the weekend I was bored and looking for some way to make the drive shorter. Lo and behold about 1/4 of the way there a Porsche Boxster (Not a S) blows by me and starts drive pretty agressively thru traffic. With the temps in the 60's and me by myself, I figured why the hell not? You only live once. So I drop into 3rd and proceed to catch up with him and follow him thru traffic. For the next roughly 100 miles we changed who was ahead so many times I lost count. We did ended racing side by side a couple of times and I managed to pull away fairly easily. Whether or not he was really driving it to the max I dunno. But, it was alot fun, it was not necessarily a race of speed but rather who could make the best decisions and not get stuck behind the slow cars. I haven't had that much fun in my CLS since I bought it. Good stuff

 

Did the same thing on a trip to Sacramento once w/a stang. Sure did make the trip go by faster.

 

hell yea those trips are the best...i've raced another CL before for about 150 or so miles...that was a lot of fun..
