Pirelli P7000

anyone used these tires. seems to be what i was looking for an all season high performance tire. I'm not into max performance out of the cls, that's what the camaro is for, what i'm looking for is an improvement over stock, and decent ride and wear characteristics.

i personally think they kinda suck.

not the best dry performance.

their ugly too.

but there are some people that love them... astroboy thinks their the cats meow.

i still think they suck

their not a true all-season tire anyway... they can handle light snow if you get the all-season version of the P7000... which most people dont have anyway.

I like Nitto's once you break them in they have great wet weather traction.... and I only toook them off for 1 month last winter in Albany.

Took them off from december to febuary.

I'm also a big fan of Toyo's their a great wet weather tire too. Tho I don't know first hand how they are in cold weather.

Anyway... good to see more people from Albany on here. We need to have a meet this fall...

Camaro, and a Cl-S, not bad! The CL is my dad's though.

Anyway, I would just listen to soop and go for a high performance tire and put snow tires on in the winter. If not Michilen Pilot A/S seem to get good reveiws.

My P7000s are awesome. They stick very well, and they perform great in all weather types.......so what? they don't have a cool tread design:wackit:

all right then something else i guess. pretty convincing.

how do the nittos hold up. My nittos are DRs only.

I know they aren't cheap but the best set of tires i've had for handling and milage wear were firestone firehawk sz 50s.

I've had
comp t/a - sticky didn't wear that well
eagle F1- wearing well, ok stick
kuhmo 712s-wearing well, ok stick, nearly as good as the goodyears
pep boys (ultra z) crap-wore fast, didnt' stick, replaced cheap but come on...
eagle GSC-wore fast, ok stick

interested in more opinions on the falken tires, what kind of milage should i expect out of them.

the pirellis are on sale at tirerack, that's why i was looking...99$ each

thanks
Joe

hey soopa, do you have a black CL with Tint, exhaust, lowered...if so you passed me on the northway yesterday...we were incognito in the achieva....going to home depot and lowe's.
