teh car looks awesome. Only thing I would change is the mesh you used in the lower front grill. It just doesn't go well w/ the car.

Get the word out -- Acura CL drivers are interested in modding their cars and there is a market for it. This is a shining example of what can be done when some imagination is put forth.
Fan-tastic job!

OKay time for a response:
Yes, I know the grill looks bad. I have a tranny cooler waiting for me at Velocity Resources. What else about the front looks bad? No need to call magazines, they have arranged for 3 photo shoots already, which I look forward to. I have several other projects left:
1. Custom fiberglass eyebrows
2. Grill removal and tranny install
3. I want to paint that middle deflector in the tailight the same color as the car. Similar to how Oonowindo's car had.
4. Tinting
5. Sponsor Graphics on the side skirts (AEM, ZEX, Comptech) and no they haven't given me shit for free.
So, yeah, I have driven the car around, but its not done so I dont want to take responsibility until after it is paid for and finished.
Unfortunately, there is no space to fold back the rear middle console, if I could that would be HOT
Someone mentioned security- I think that is covered, but in the end it is called INsurance for a reason!
Thanks for all the props and I apologize if I keep posting updates, however I want to show the car when it is done...thanks!

Very nice indeed!!! I like how everything is 'podded' and ovalish in a way....works with the car!!! Trade in that AEM and get a WR Dragon Intake...you can take the intake frame and color it!!!!
Also...a powdercoated WR strut tower would look mean under the hood....just stuff to help fill up the engine bay....

AcurajL,
I owe you an apology. Before I was hating on your equipment. I have to say that is the HOTTEST Audio/Video setups I have seen in a CL-S, or in any Acura/Honda. And your setup is my favorite from all the other setups i have ever seen in any car.
I think the SQ in your system would sound better than ANYONE ELSES that simply throws in high end stuff...because INSTALL is the most important factor with getting the best sound.
It is evident that you installed properly, and again its simply amazing.
Sorry about the doubting and the hating before.
I just finished sending the links to your pics to all my friends. We all love it, and I cant wait to see your ride in magazines.
You definetly have my respect for your ride, and your equipment.

I love the car, it looks incredible - Just one question...
Why the placement of the sub between the back two seats - granted it looks tight as hell, but don't you lose a bit of the bump?
I guess you have enough bass power from other sources though.
Great job

mc222: NO loss of bass at all, in fact, in theory there is a gain of bass. If the sub were in the trunk there would be more absorbed bass by the seats and structure. If the ski-hole were always closed at all times I wold lose even more.
We created a "pressure chamber" between the seats and the box that forces the frequencies into the car. And with the 13.5 JL W7 there is no worry of bump. Let me put it this way: I have a civic with 2 10" dvc Orion XTR2 in bandpass with the port-hole through the rear deck. Once again no absorbtion of bass. Those 2 orion 10"'s at full 500 watts doesnt even some close to the 13.5 JLW7 at half volume.

way to much for him to ever tell I assume. I know what goes into projects like these after spending 8 years building my 55 suburban. When people ask, i get that sinful sound comming out "i'll never tell"
