That is true to so whenever I get any install work done I never use my real address especially if you are putting in an alarm.

Well it was done by 6th Ave Electronics in Springfield, and i was robbed at work, not my house i always park in the garage at home anyway. I dunno how it came out so easily, even 6th ave told me it had extra bolt ons or some crap so it would be hard for a thief to remove it. yea, my balls...

lol check ebay for NJdrive, sure they have it. Never seen it in a store tho.

I got the insurance guy should be here any minute so om praying to God i dont lose too much money here

Still thinking about any future alarm/security mods. Suggestions are always welcome

they couldnt have been new to the car, it looks like they went straight to where all the bolts are to hold it in, and knew exactly how to get there. i wouldnt have a clue if i saw the car for the first time.

mine got broken into the same way but they didnt open the door so the alarm didnt go off. id at least get a shock sensor, if not a whole alarm, im lookin for one with a perimiter warning, along with 2way pager.

dang, dude, so sorry that happened to you. I lived in North Bergen for 5 years, on Boulevard East and 75th street, it was very good neighborhood there. I parked my car in the driveway, no problem at all. Union City is scatchy neighborhood, my friend's new Bimmer was keyed and broken into in Union City. Man, it is getting like Jersey City now. Another coworker of mine lives in Jersey City, his TL's headlights was stolen 3 TIMES!!!!!! Finally he changed car

no hes talking about Union in Union County not the Union City by like West New York and Jersey City, both are suspect areas though, i played football in high school at a field in West New York and that place is truely ghetto though. the houses were like 2ft apart.

Just got my estimate from statefarm yesterday. Total damages of 4,700 dollars minus the 250 dollar deductible. I was lucky to recieve 1000 dollars for the pioneer dvd player, which was the full cost of the pieces themselves, although i paid 1600 in total including taxes and installation. they also paid for the aftermarket headight bulbs. there was a tiny scratch on the chrome trim around the window and they even paid for me to have a new chrome trim! New hood, new front bumper, new headlights, repair scratch on the drivers side door from the glass, new window, and new silver dashtrim around the radio. Although overall i lost around 850 dollars (600 from the Pioneer and 250 deduct.), i still believe i came out pretty good. Highly recommend statefarm for the way their rep handled my estimate. And if my collision shop finds anymore damage, they will pay for that as well.

Thinking of getting this head unit to replace the stolen dvd flipout.

The insurance company was fair. I guess you can't be too pissed. See if you can get the body shop to cover the cost of the deductable. Sometimes they will "find" some more stuff that's messed up to cover your losses.
