Pics from the Frankfurt motor show (including Porsche babes :-)
got back a few days ago. 1,000 exhibitors, 1 million people attended- the world's largest auto show to date. BMW had an impressive show of cars but Mercedes completely dominated with a massive, elaborate presentation. Porsche was by far the most fun since I caught their show closing festivities. here are a few teaser pics. Larger versions and many more shots are here:

I've gotta go to this show someday that and Goodwood Festival of Speed, and Geneva, and NYC and Detroit and . . . .

Chief: yes, so many events that would be fun to see. I have yet to even go to a F1 race...
Katana: I agree- the SLR may be the best looking vehicle out now. The huge louvers on the side with the side pipes below look unreal in person.

Ahh.. I thought the Accord there looked a little different. didn't realize they just went with the TSX but I guess that makes sense. It also was weird seeing a NSX with a Honda emblem on the back.

mr. Sparkle was still dreaming in there when I took this one also. I overhead his friend say "come on dude, you've been sitting in there for a half-hour already. I'm outta here..." No, not really, but it would've been funny.

Chaptorial: I've never been to the NYIAS but have gone to a few in other cities. this one was pretty damn big, but the clencher was all the hot Euro chicks walking around. German girls like cars!
