Pics of CL towing

I have pics of my CL towing a trailer with 2 quads on it. Just want to show you guys how strong and versitile the car really is. BTW I get 22MPG towing the trailer which blows away any truck on the road.

I need to know how to post pics for free or I can send them to someone else to do so.

Please advise.

What is crazy is the CL has more HP and torque than most SUVs towing more weight. The long wheelbase really makes the trailer very stable at highway speed.

Yes they are both Hondas
400EX Red
300Ex Yellow
Both very solid and reliable so far.

And yeah the trailer extends out to 4.5 x 12 feet, not including the tongue

Do you kive in Missouri City? Is that Plantation Colony? The house across the street looks familiar.

I ordered mine through hitch-web.com and installed it myself.

the hitch was $135 and the wiring harness was $30. both prices have gone up ($160/$40, I think) so it sounds like you got a pretty good deal.

I kept the hitch and harness when I sold my 2001, and I'll be installing them on the 2003 6-speed I just picked up.

the '01 auto (original tranny) never had a problem pulling the trailer with a 525 lb sport-tourer and gear on it. I expect no less from the 6-speed...

Ya no kidding, I used to live in First Colony (Missouri City) and those houses looked familiar for some reason - but the more I thought about it, almost all suburbs look nearly the same and those small Oak trees in the front yards make the houses look 100% like a Houston area suburb

This weekend I pushed the limits. We were working on a back yard deck and needed to pick up brinks from home depot. I had 77 bricks at 23lbs each in the trailer. That totals over 1700lbs. When you include the trailer it came up another 500lbs to 2200lbs. The Cl had no issues what so ever. i will say i could feel the extra weight back there.

Over all it is really important to balance the load and let the trailer to most of the work. I would never go much further than a couple of miles with that much weight.
