On that note, is there any Navi out there better than ours? My mom has the MB S430, and that thing is a pain in the ass to use, ESPECIALLY with the little joystick!

I like the simplicity of ours and the touch screen. It makes it a hell of a lot easier!

hey rick question. Why do they offer two differnt type of grills?

one has little bumps and other one is just smooth lines like he other infiniti

The one I test drove had the little bumps and was a auto w/ luxury package.

is one for the luxury package, and one for standard or one for 6mt and one for auto?

and this

Not to hijack the thread, but I believe the lexus nav might be. Depending on your demographic. Honda/Acura nav is suppose to be rated best because of its simplicity where a 5 year old kid to a 65 year old grandma can use it, but perhaps some1 like me (mid to high 20s to 40s) would apreciate the lexus nav more because of its higher detail and available features. As much as I love the nav in ours, compared to the other ones I've seen, it seems a little like playskool.

I see, haven't been able to experience the Lexus Navi yet, but I think I've seen it and remember that it looked pretty sweet.

BTW the only downside I have with Lexus nav is that you MUST put it in park for you to be able to change destinations. A safety issue I would gladly like to loose.

P.S.
Just to ramain on topic...my TLS has nothing on that G35 coupe/NAV. Well...other than more room for the potential making out sessions in the back...but I've only been able to do that in the 1st year of ownership. :'(

thanx guys. i havent been back onto this thread, because i accidentally created 2 of the same threads. as far as some of the questions.......

- how does it drive?-- IN-FRIGGIN-CREDIBLE!!! my GS4 had some suspension mods (shocks/springs/sways/etc) but it cant hold a candle to this as far as cornering. The brakes (Brembos) are superb and the steering feels very precise. I cant tell you how fast it is as im trying to abide by the break-in rules. but the exhaust screams. much different than my brothers '02 maxima.

-the wheels--- they are the optional 18's in a "black chrome" finish. they were only a 600 buck upgrade and that also included an LSD. well worth the money. i am happier about the Brembos behind them

- the grill?-- NoVa from what i saw, the ones with the bumps were sedan specific. now i may be wrong, but i noticed them too while i was doing the paperwork.

- the NAV-- now granted this is my first vehicle with nav, but i am pleased. i do know that acura has one of the best on the market (the other doctor in the clinic had an RL, and now has a 530i and NEVER uses the nav on it. says it sucks ) the joystick is a pain at times. two cool things 1) the birds eye view that lets the map "roll" to you as you drive and 2) the day/night feature. the day/night (and this may be standard on other cars) switches the back ground of the map from white (day) to black (night) when you turn the lights on. it is very trick.

overall, i am happy (ecstatic) with the purchase. the attention that this thing draws is almost embarrassing. next weekend, i am getting with some of the a-cl guys here in ATL and do some dynoing and chilling out. ill have some more tales then. take care....

well its bigger than the backseat in the Z seriously, it is ok width and legroom-wise, but if you are over 5'9"/10" you may be hitting your head on the glass. fortunately, no one who has to make the car payments has to sit back there
