hehe they do look the same. But if you look at the ground, the M6 actually lights up the ground as the 5W PIAA doesnt do that.

My polarg M6 bulbs just went out on me. I bought the 19224 PIAA bulbs. I'll get a comparison done for you guys.

Spiroh,
Where the PIAA 19224's a little smaller than the Polarg M6's?? I am contemplating replacing the bulbs they replaced (the good old crappy factory piss looking bulbs) after repairing my bumper (they had to break the M6's to get them out) after a close call with a piece of sheet metal.

Where the PIAA's a little easier to install (and hopefully remove) than the M6's? I think the 19224's are the higher wattage bulbs as well so there shouldn't be much of a light output difference than the Polarg's, but hopefully the bulb is a little smaller (as someone else had posted on this board) than the M6.

Re: Um size difference???

Wait a couple of days, and I'll find out for you. I placed my order today through acp.com. They are fast so I should have them soon. FBazakos used both, and he prefered the PIAA 19224 over the Polargs. I'll definitely tell you whats up.

i've tried everything. been using the pia 19224 for my fake fogs. why you ask? well ... the color matches the HID's nicely, not necessarily the brightest, but when we are talking wedge bulbs, lets face it, they all suck. also, the installed easily, no fitment problems for me. oh, and my housing is not burned. however, it looks like the blue cover is starting to flake off, but i've had them on there forever, so for $10, i dont mind changing them twice a year, you just have to be careful to not touch the bulbs with your fingers.

they don't appear to be as bright since they are bluer.

I had Polarg M6s. They looked good, but they both are burnout now. When they burnout the one side bubbles out and you cant get them through the hole. So basically they are stuck in there. One is actually rolling around because it fell out of the socket while I was trying to pull it through the hole. They also burnt the top of the housing. I wouldn't recommend them.
