Just put on the PIAA 19172 Xtreme White.
Comparsion with stock bulb: (left one)

and this from a distance: (both Piaa)

they actually appear to be more blue than white in person

i ordered the 19224 w2's instead of the 19172's for the road lamps. besides the wattage difference, u guys think they should look about the same??

They look nice, better than I expected, especially for being 5 watt bulbs. I think I'm going to order some right away. I was thinking about going with the 18 watt bulbs, but I really don't want any melting issues. But these seem fine, much better than the 5 watt PIAAs people were using before.

I really don't think you have to worry about 18W bulbs. The PIAA 19224 or Polarg M-6 should be fine.

And there is a BIG difference between the 5W PIAA 19169 that I had before and the new PIAA 19224, they don't look dull like the 5W bulbs.
