Hi everyone,

It seems like it's been years since I've been around (has been, sorry). As mileage got higher, she became way too much of a DD. I had to add another toy to the stable, and that gets 99% of my mod attention now.

Anyway, I had recently had the motor replaced by the dealer, and I'm pretty sure they never did an alignment after having the bottom out. It's only been about 5K miles, and the drop has completely destroyed the inner edge of my tires (w/ less than 10K miles on them). I dropped the car 3 years ago and had an alignment done afterwards, the tire wear was acceptable unitl the new motor was installed. Previously I used the shop I used to work at, but I've been told by the asst manager that if I want it done right, take it somewhere else (honesty is appreciated)

not sure where to tell you exactly, but I called the local Lotus dealership. They just happened to have a underground alinment machine. Probaly could try even a Porsche or a Benz dealership too.

Those people who buy those cars don't take them to their local tire alignment shop, just have to find out where they get theirs done at.

O yea, price was $69 too for the 4 wheel performance alignment.

type in your area code, then call one of the numbers. And ask he/she what shops carry hunter equipment or if they could recommend a good shop. Hunter has the best equipment when it comes to tires/suspension/alignments.

Hey Guys, thanks for the responses!

I hadn't considered another dealer/shop, but will definitely consider. I contacted the local Hunter rep. I'll be sure to post-up my findings!
