Arrow Performance Wanted...what can I do...

I am relatively new to the scene, and have had my car for a couple of years...a 2003 cl-s manual transmission.
When i purchased the car I had them put the comptech springs, sway bars, headers and exhaust on the car.....

now i want more.....

I am wanting to know what other type of "bolt-ons" are available for this car (i found the cold air intake). Are there pulleys, performance chips, etc. If so, where can i get stuff like this, how much does it cost, and will it make a difference in my performance.

lastly, i was considering a vis c/f hood for the car......but they tell me that "they strongly recommend hood clips" but i feel that this takes away from the clean lines of the car......does anyone have one here (how do u like it), and are tehy using hood clips....

thanks, any other suggestion on what to do would be helpful.......it is a black car with black interior.

i have a VIS hood, and it doesn't need pins. they must just say that to cover their ass. nobody uses pins on the CL hoods.

an icebox would be a good place to start along w/ thermoblok spacers.

to get some real power i would recommend the comptech supercharger.

do u know anything about a c/f trunk lid for our cars...vis says they do not make one, but there is a guy in one of the forums that claims to have one? and there pics of it...but i dont have the pics....i can get them though(my buddy found it)

UR crank pulley, Thermoblok spacers, S/C. I wouldn't look into the chips. I have the Unichip, but don't waste your money.

man, the 50 shot drops u a second! wow that is a lot.....is it safe to run that amount of juice, and how much did it cost you to get here so far....also, i found some aem products and was eondering if they are good/make a difference...

if i added the aem cold air intake, and the underdrive pulleys....would i see a difference..actually, i was gonna go ahead and do the pulley, cold air, vis hood, and the thermoblok all at the same time.....i had the ss coils, but got rid of them, but i may try and get them back.

what does the fuel pump do for you (pros and specs please) and how much is that

and finally how much was the chip....and what does it give u?

I really appreciate all the help, i am very un-educated in this area, and everything i learn makes me stronger!!!

that time is w/ a 75 shot

i would recommend the icebox or injen cai, as i've had 2 aem cai's break

if you did UR pulleys, cai and thermoblok at the same time you would definately feel a difference

fuel pump was around $100, you don't need it unless you plan to use forced induction

most people haven't had very good luck w/ the unichip, and i wouldn't recommend it

i say start w/ the above mentioned

ok cool......ill look for those cai's........i was just lookin at nex systems, and was wondering what the diff between wet and dry is. if i wanted to do a nex system, would i then need the fuel pump?

how oftern do u spray, and what kind of side effects/detriments come as a result of spraying.....like a 55shot. thanks again

Do you track the car often ?
If I were looking at a Nitrous set up, my reason would be because I go to the track quite often.

Otherwise I would just get the Intake and UR crank pulley,, and thermoblock and see how much I was satisfied then.

If you want a UR Crank Pulley, I have one and an Alt. or Power steering pulley , whichever I can't remember.

PM me if interested.
Good luck

Unorthodox Racing (the one everyone here uses) $120 for both of the Pullies I have, and If you don't mind waiting I'll bring them with me when I come to Houston for the meet that is mentioned in the link I posted above.

Well if the car is not going to see the track, then I would not go with nitrous.

General Statement (not towards you bro): I would hate to think of someone spraying on a street race because that is what drag strips are for.
Just my

With your car being a 6 speed: Headers, Exhaust, Intake, Pullies, Thermoblock.
260-270 WHP maybe ?

3.5 liter stroker from honda oddessey, headers, comptech ice box ,ment for the 6 speed ..(i eliminated my VSA found only on the auto)lower temp thermostat and corresponding fan switch...hi pressure radiator cap a light weight crank pulley like that from unorthodox racing but mine's a no name brand bought off ebay for 55$ supposedly made by OBX ,SSR competition wheels 17/8 are 14.3 lbs compared to the stock 26lbs ..H&R o.e. sport springs, koni yellow shocks SP3 neuspeed version, with stiffer compression and rebound and a shorter shaft especially good for those with aggressive drops and last is the UNI Chip which i do recomend...i think thats it...

gives you control over air fuel ratios and timing should be good for 10 hp and 10 lbft of torque or more...and like 600$ i would put it near the bottom of your list as it has lower bang for the buck than many other mods ...but when you run out of stuff to buy ...well you know how it is...10 hp is 10 hp...

yeah....wow that is a lot for nothing.....

see, i am really into trucks..used to have a 2000 ford f250 power stroke diesel......my dad just got him an 05 king ranch power stroke with the new 6 liter diesel in it...they sell a chip for it (edge performance) for 700 bucks that gives it 250lb ft torque and 125hp....it has 5 levels of performance and comes with a module with digital display...now that is bang for your buck...that big nasty 8k pound truck will run mid 13's (4x4 truck) with just adding that...total crank power is like 800+ torque and 450 hp!!!!!!! thats what i like...i dont even know y i got a car.....too damn expensive to pep up., and then they break cause u do too much to them....

there was another diesel i know that is twin turboed and ran an 11.77 at 104...he blew a head gasket midway through the run!!!...they do that for like 4500 bucks...sure is a lot for the money when u consider comptech wants 4000 for a measly 50hp..

just my two cents
