People who really drive in Queens, NYC, Brooklyn, & Staten Island

I just want to hear experiences from people who have comptech springs on their car with or without body kit, on the horrible roads in NYC and Queens. I live in Long Island and not worried about the roads here, but I drive to NYC and Queens almost every other day, and want to know from you guys will I be scraping and bottoming out?

I know ride quality is close to stock, but I'm just worried about potholes and f'ng up my body kit and bottoming out. What got me worried was the first post in this thread:

Is this true for us NY people with lowered cars. Please state what springs and if you have a body kit or not. I asked this on the TL forum, but not too many NY people responded. Thanx in advance for the responses.

Well since I am in NY visiting relatives, driving all over queens and long island... so far there are alot of pot holes, but if you are careful you should be fine. I have 19" with the H&R Drop, with an eye on the road so far so good. No harm done, as long as you keep an eye on the road. In short every city has roads which make you think were are our tax dollars going to cuz they haven't been paved in ages...

Someone read my post

It's not that bad, As stated if you drive slow & are aware you should be ok. No I am, so next time I drive my car in NYC I'll be drivng even slower then I was the first trip. I was just up therer last weekend in fact & I see the city is paving alot of the roads. Like the belt.

whattup desi, i got CT springs on my ride with stock wheels and the ride is rougher, but its manageable. had it on for a week so far, they're not bad... just watch out for those potholes, esp when driving in nyc.
