Passenger Side Seat Heater Doesn't Heat CLS-6
As the title states, I have a 2003 Acura CL-S 6 Speed. I just recently bought the car and have come to realize that the passenger side seat heater doesn't work. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has any ideas of how to fix it? I searched and found one post from another member with the same issue but no replies so...Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

If you search there is a DIY I believe on the TL side on taking out the seat and replacing the copper element. Most likely that is the cause of the problem. Also just for you to be aware the passenger side, only the bolster is suppose to heat up not the back, that is only in the driver's seat. Worse case, who cares about the passenger as your seat is warm, hahah.

Haha...True although the gf may have something to say about that. I didn't know the bolster thing but I don't think those were heating up either but I'll check. Thanks for the info.

What sayfulhaqq said... Just the bottom on the passenger side warms up...
Check the fuses...
If it's still broken:

yea, just go take a look at the DIY. the coils are between the leather and thick foam padding. The seats are very heavy to remove too since all the motors are mounted on the bottom. so labor rate is high. you can replace the whole heating pad/coil but its like over 100 for parts. The DIY from the TL side says to solder a new piece of high temp copper wiring. essentially a 3 dollar fix but the labor is what will kill you. I hope to tackle this some day, maybe this summer between spring semester-summer school-fall semester.
