Parts Req'd for valve adjustment

So my CLS6 is comming close to 105k. My valves have been ticking a little more since I bought the car and I already replaced my PVS. I need my valves adjusted and found a buddy to do it for $170. Now what parts should I get while he's doing that? I did a search and found squat. I know i'll need valve cover gaskets. What else? Should I get other things done while hes in there? I know i'm getting my timing belt done soon after my tax refund comes in. Should I get that done at the same time if hes removing the cover? Part numbers would help.

Thanks in advance!
Eddie

I would wait to have the valves adjusted till you replace the timing belt. Do every thing at the same time (well thats what i would do). Nothing is really needed other than the gaskets. (make sure to get the spark plug hole gaskets as well

well, what I was saying is....does adjusting the valves cross over replacing timing belt etc? Or would the labor rate be the same if I was to do them at different times?
