Panic button and Trunk Release button functions on alarm remote are reversed!

Panic pops my trunk and Trunk sets off the alarm.. it's an eBay remote but has the correct FCC ID. Anyone know why this is happening?

Hahahaha is your name really inchlongnipples? I've learned the hard way that in an effort to save a buck you wind up spending more. You're better off getting a remote straight from Acura than on eBay.

Lol yes my name is inchlongnipples and yes I have an eBay remote, which was given to me when I bought the car. I just want to figure out why the remote is all wonky. The FCC ID on the remote matches the alarm ECU. I have both unplugged the alarm ECU (under the passenger's seat) to reset it, and reset and reprogrammed the remote with no success.

Any ideas?
