Painting a car

Anybody know any good sites that explain in detail how to paint your car by yourself?

Unless you know what you're doing I wouldn't bother. Body work is a lot tougher than unbolting & bolting parts and body panels back on. BTW: why do estimates for body work vary by so much. For a dented fender hood and headlight replacement I had estimates from $1400 to $3800. Why the difference?

Estimates for parts and hours of labor were completely different from one shop to another.
