Question Painted mud gaurds?
What do you guys think? does it look good or should i just take them off? Does anyone have pics?

My CL-S is ABP, and I had my mudguards painted. I'll go take a picture since IMO it looks badass

On second thought I'll wait until this weekend when I get a chance to give it a wash. Been raining all week..

My car is NPB and i actually PUT them on instead of take them off. The color isnt too different and it doesnt look terrible. kinda depends on the color of your car though.

in that pic, yes.
I've removed the chrome door edge trim since. The chrome around the window exists on all 2G CLs stock.

my car is ssm (satin silver metallic) How did it cost to get painted? Does it hold up well or does it flake off?

for some reason, my car only came with front mud guards. i don't have any rear ones

I only have fronts too, i like the look. Rears don't look right on there imo. I'm going to paint mine this summer.

you need to make sure the paint shop puts plenty of flex additive into the paint.

The rears are bigger. He's probably running a staggered set-up.

I tossed mine...haven't looked back since.

If I had to put them back on...I guess I would buy a new set and have them painted.

I do think they look weird with only a pair up front or back.

Looks incomplete to me...throwing my eye off.

I know it's redundant, but I said I'd post a picture, so..



Since there wasn't enough light, I couldn't get a shot of the inner side (the side facing the tire.) I don't know about you guys, but I only got the exposed sides painted. I kept the inner part black to match the color of the wheel well. Not to mention it'll save you a little bit of money if you have someone else paint it for you.
