Paint Peeled Clean Off With Windshield Replacement
Live in Northern Virginia.
Got a crack on the lower left portion of my windshield about three weeks ago. Requested that the glass company obtain a factory windshield, which they did. The first replacement that was installed had a defect in the glass, so they had to replace again.
The final replacement was being put in by the glass company, when the installer had to lift the blue painter tape they use for securing the glass for 24 hours. Clear coat and top layer of paint came right off the car with the tape.

factory warranty should cover that
once again welcome to the board
That's a drag. What the hell!! I got a chip 2 weeks ago. I think I'll have it repaired.
