paint lip spoiler before or after install?
just got a lip spoiler for my 01 cl. do you guys recommend me installing it onto the car first, and then paint it. or vice versa - paint it first, then install.
i have to bend it a bit, so i'm just wondering whether it would crack the paint if painted first?
thanks

if its properly prepped and painted....it should be fine and wont crack..plus if you install it first.....youdhave to mask off the trunk and also you wouldnt get the underside..not that anyones gonna see it....but paint first...install second

Where is my super sauce?
Paint first. Make sure they use the 'flex' additive and the spoiler's paint won't crack.
See http://www.c-c-c.net/CustomCarCreati...Page/index.htm for trunk lip spoilers. CL>Exterior>Spoilers
Most get the M5 lip spoiler (not the M3), and most go for the real BMW stuff.
