Paint chips and leasing

We all know the paint sucks on the CL (my black car has hundreds of chips on the hood / bumper and mirrors). Acura claims this is quote "normal" and a result of "normal driving conditions". However, I am afraid that I will get bent over on the "beyond normal were and tear" charges when I turn the car back in. Two questions....

1.) Has anyone returned their car w/ lots of chips on the front? Did you get owned by Acura?

2.) If I can get documentation from Acura that they say the chips are "normal", do you think I would have a leg to stand on when they tried to screw me?

I love my car, but this paint really pisses me off!
I know, I know all cars get chips....trust me, the chips on my car are FAR worse than I ever seen on a car w/ 15k miles
