Paint chipping from exhaust

Anyone here have a problem with their paint chipping off their bumper from their exhaust?? Around my exhaust area is slight bubbles and cracking...

I don't know if you mean the paint on the car or the exhaust's chrome. however, my exhausts' chrome is very dull and i feel like changing the tips.. if anyone has a suggestion, let me know

Maybe the dealer can replace under warranty. That's if they don't give you shit about your exhaust.

yea only problem is im at 56k now, and PAA might not even replace the srs sensor that went out again that I had fixed at around 49k, they told me they are going to have to look at it first, but I was told that replacement parts was under a 12k warranty so well see what happens on the 20th when i bring it in.

it's your 5zigen pipes, they are causing to much heat most likely


I have the same problem w/ my suburban cause the exhaust comes out right before the rear panel

has the bumper ever been repainted??? fi so that probly why. if not the only think i can think of is high heat

There is a TSB service bulitine about this, the dealer will put a paint on your exaust. the paint is only for decoration and serves no purpose.
