Paint Chipping

the corner of my trunk lid seems to be rubbing against the back quarter panel ................ i noticed a chip there before but it has gotten worse and realized its from closing the trunk.............anybody else had this problem?....................is this a warranty issue

I had the same thing........I adjusted the rubber stoppers on the trunk lid and it stopped......I had to touch it up though

Is this really from closing the trunk? i ALWAYS close my trunk gently, and my corners are really fucked up! I was thinking, maybe the spolier had enough downforce to make it touch and road vibrations made it rub? Body flex? maybe im in denial. All I know is that its gonna take alot of touch up paint to fix my trunk!

I have the same problem....dam I hate that....I was blaming the spoiler and the added weight of it.

I had the dealer re-align my trunk..........it's a 2001 and the panel fit was less than spectacular. All's well now......after the touch up paint of course.
