has anyone else who lives in orlando with a radar detector notice that whenever there is one of those road rangers on the side of the road they give off a k band? probably to scare people into slowing down but i just realized it today

 

Nope never noticed, i see em all the time on I-4. but of course, i dont have a radar either hehe

 

yeah, some of the road work signs have visible radar guns mounted under the display. in the DC area, guns are also positioned in boxes over overpasses to the DOT can monitor speed of traffic-

 

Yeah I notice it all the time, I've seen cops put out the dummy cars w/ detectors on and no cop in sight...k-ban goes crazy...but also there is lots of other stuff that cause the detector to go off, (o-town is growing like a wild fire)...it sucks
