Do you guys recommend just using the stock crank pulley or getting the 12v UR crank. Anyone want my regular UR crank pulley? I love the thing!
exhaust is pretty important.. your ramming it in there, so you want it out as quickly as possible.

Colder plugs come with the kit to handle the extra HP from the charger.

I do not know much about crank pulley's so I will leave that up to someone else to answer that..

good luck deal with VR

i am one of the people having a problem with them right now

i ordered mine back in march, was told it shouldn't be more than 4-6 weeks, and now it's almost June and unless i called Comptech directly i get no where. Their desk guy A.J. doesn't seem to like to return phone calls. i even visited last about 2 weeks ago when i was in Florida, and they still had no clue what was going on.

today comptech told me it should ship out friday, but who knows

i should have kept my order with c.c.c, but the tax was way too much since i also live in NY

The 12v UR seems to really make a difference. My best time before the pulley was 13.84 and after we installed the UR 12v and PS pulley(I also had the Mugan cooling mods done at the same time) my best went to a 13.68 and this was in a warmer temp of 82.

I had a similar ordeal last year with my charger and even though it had been ordered it took some time to receive it. When I called CT they would often give me a ship date but because mine was not in a certain "batch" run it took longer....but never the less it was worth it. I'll touch base with AJ on this since I'm taking my car in for the new 9lb pulley tune.

Hopefully low to mid 13s. After it is I/C mid to high 12s with good traction-slicks.

I don't want to hijack.. but a quick little FYI. The wife and I may be moving early next year to North Carolina (we're going in July to meet with some builders).... so all you NY folks who would have to pay tax now will no longer have to once we transfer our business license.

When I called VR initially before I placed the order I had remembered what you told me so I asked Jason about it. From what he said it seems to be a problem with Comptech getting the orders out and not them.

Either way when you get in tough with them and find out what’s up, please keep us updated.

Nah I remember. As soon as they come off they’re yours. Hopefully sooner rather then later.

That’s really great news. Like I said if it wasn’t for the tax I would have probably gone with you guys. You guys were flawless in my previous orders through you.

it's both

comptech had the blowers on backorder, and VR doesn't like to check the status on it

their Customer service in my opinion sucks(both comptech and VR)
when i call up and ask for an order status, call me back even if you have nothing to make me happy and seem like u actually tried.

Yeah I agree 100%, especially when its on a product like this. However I ordered most of my other CT products through VR and they were great in the CS department.

I know Jason was saying that 2 orders for the S/C were going out this week so that might mean yours is coming soon. When you do get in touch with them i'd be interested in hearing the outcome.

just called VR about an hour ago, spoke to AJ, told me not to call comptech and he would call me back, so far i haven't heard a thing. i called comptech yesterday myself with the PO number and was told it's going out by friday, but when i called last friday about the order they told me i was going out on monday which already passed.

i'll give AJ till 2pm which is when i get back from lunch and then call him again if i hear nothing

Well if it doesn't go out this week i'd raise hell. I mean in both those estimates by CT they said it would go out this week. I'd let em slide on the actual day but that’s it.

I don't go for that “stringing you along” shit and just telling you week by week as they pass. Lets hope it ships by the 28th.

Darrin I already told you I’ve had nothing but good experiences with VR. They admitted to me that they had problems in the past and that they're now fixed.

Thats dito for me. I should be, at this point, a part owner of Comptech just in all the parts I've gotten. I purchased all of them from VR and never had a problem. It seems to me if you place an order and Comptech is still "will be shipped" when you call them as opposed with the "it has been shipped" then there is part of the problem. I never questioned VR because I did my own follow up with Comptech on SC, B-pipe,etc...

Yea I agree...the Brembo Gran Turismo brake kit (red) should be your next purchase after the SC.

BTW, IMO you will have the best looking and best modded CL on the forum once all is said and done.

I ordered mine during the second week in February and it will be delivered through VR. I still don't have the kit, but I know that in my case the problems have been on Comptech's end and not on Velocity's end.

I know how you feel. It has been frustrating waiting all this time. But I have to say that Jason at Velocity has been great dealing with me. Every time I call, he does his best to find out what is really going on and keeps me up to date. My frustration is definitely not with him or VR. My frustration is with all of the problems Comptech has experienced recently trying to put the kits together: bad bracket, then ran out of blowers, then bad casting, then...

According to Comptech, my kit shipped today from Comptech to VR and I expect to get it within two weeks. At this point I'll believe it when I see it.

I am sorry you have had a bad experience with Velocity. My experience with them has been positive and I would definitely consider them again for future purchases.

If you do the brakes get the Rotoras big break kit. My car stops unbelievably well with them on(the mountains of Tennessee proved to be a great testing ground). With the money saved over the Brembos you can start looking at an I/C.

Quick Reply: Ordered the C/T Supercharger
