Opinions on the EL

Wasn't sure where to post this as I saw no EL section.. but just wondering your opinions/experience with it? I really like the look of the EL sedan.. how does it drive? Not much HP, can it be modded?

Only available in Canada - it's basically a Honda Civic with all of the options.

not to fond of it, but its not horrible. looks just like a civic w/a better front end. interior isnt horrible though.

I would go with the TSX or RSX. It's a Civic.

i definitely agree the rsx and tsx look better and are just overall better.
but money wise, im sure you would save money buying a new EL rather than a new TSX OR RSX.
now myself, No, i wouldnt drive it.
im sure it will be quite easy to mod, but i wouldnt waste my time.
you could put a decent custom turbo setup on the thing and it would still be slow.
not worth it imo unless you want to save money, gas, and arent worried about having a fast car.

thx for your replies.. I wasn't aware the EL is only available in Canada.. it looks nothing like a civic though, but it is seriously lacking in power

i'd buy a 1990 CRX and drive to the states... then ditch the thing on a road somewhere and buy a real Acura.

j/k

drunk7daysaweek, this should have been posted in cartalk.

https://acurazine.com/forums/car-talk-5/

I'm closing it here as we can't move threads between the 2G CL forum and the off-topic forum.

Feel free to repost this is cartalk if you want more opinions.
