Also, they could use four O2 sensors in this system (two before cat and two after). This would make it possible for the cat to phuck it up...
Our systems have 2. 1 in the headers and then 1 in or after the cat. When I spoke with the guy at the exhaust shop, he said that everything it legit other than the fact that there is no cat. The o2 that is in the galsspack is reading the same as the first thus throwing the code that the cat is bad or in my case, just not there. P0420 is the code if i remember correctly and that is: Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (bank1).

^okay. that's good that you got that code read. i thought you were rolling around with your car throwing codes and you were clueless and sure it was the lack of the catalytic converter.

you need to fix that CEL because the computer is probably pulling timing bc that was one SLOW pull. my auto w/ a CEL pulls harder than that.

Does the 6mt have a lower redline? redline is 6800 and I thought fuel cutoff was just north of 7K ?

I mean this was the first time that i opened her up. I think that i'm going to get the o2 simulator and try it out. Hopefully it will work and not give me the code again. I'll post when i get it and see what happens.

Looks like artbran has the shifting on the CLS 6spd down... it does take a little getting used to...

Well the truth is...

The CL-P says it relines at 6250, I can shift slight of 6700 (in the red mind you) after that the fuel cut off turns on.

The CL-S redlines at 6900 rpms...fuel cutoff is just a lil north of 7k.

EDIT: Greenie, your saying 6800 RPMs. How come every where else is saying 6900 RPMs for redline?

For some reason, the color, the OEM wheels, new tint, mods, etc... I really like it. Keep it up GM#2.

You know the GM nickname was by mere coincidence. The name popped in my head and out came GM#2.

More mods are coming. I absolutely love being single. I can mod the crap out of my car without getting yelled at.

Well, at least you checked the code and didn't just assume it!
If you put a resistor in the line to the second O2 Sensor, wouldn't that give the computer a better reading? I know that the O2 sensor gives a signal based on how open it is. Maybe putting a resistor on the first one may work better... That way the computer thinks that the cat is giving a good reading and corrects the A/F mixture. I don't know...

To be perfectly honest... that 0-120 seemed really slow for a 6-speed with I/H.

You go from 0-95 in about 19 seconds without traction problems.

In my N/A video I go from 20-95 in 14 seconds.
