what's up fellas I'm still pretty new to the community so i thought i should share one my best races that i had with my cls. One night me and friend was chillin minding our business in fact going home and run into a 98-99 bmw M3, aw man was my mouth dripping I pulled up right behind him thinking he didn't even notice me light turns green and takes off! Now im real excited b/c i know he wants to race. I followed him until we pulled over and He asked Me if I wanted to race I said hell yeah! My friend knew a spot right down the street and its a nice spot to get it in. We get on the street this guy is doing burnouts to warm up his tires, my friend turns and looks at me like im crazy to race this guy. What my friend did't know is that when the guy took off at the light 3rd gear didn't seem all that strong to me b/c i was right on his butt after i shifted to 3rd. Now were lined up take notice I had my 18in anteras on and i had a passenger it was just him. My friend called it and we both take off 1st and 2nd gear he jumps right ahead of me but my theory was right as soon as i shifted to 3rd i pulled right next to him then eventually as i'm going thru 3rd gear i began to pull and then the spanking begins when i went into 4th it was curtains. When the race was over he was asking me what i had in my car i told him just a intake you guys should have seen his face.

I assume you mean it was curtains for you??? Our 4th gear sux (unless you have a 6-spd).

no actually it was curtains for him and yes our 4th gear does suck but it enough to beat his ass. And no i don't have a 6speed

I'm pretty sure he means up to the point when he shifted into 4th...meaning all of 3rd. And I'm ASSUMING you didn't go too much into 4th? Because if you did, he WOULD have caught up...and plus that's extremely high speeds on surface streets
