For the money i'd go with the GS430. However between the two Benz's i'd take the E500, period.

E500...I think you would regret not getting the 8 cylinder. I know I would. It comes down to what you want. I personally think 65g for a 320 Merc is a joke. The 500 is the hands down choice to me.

BTW, for 5g more..THINK M5

E320 vs. E500....E500

But i would rather have a CLK500...since there are so many E's on the road...especially driven by older people (not saying there is anything wrong with the E, it's a great car). By the way what is your age? If you are under 30, a CLK would be better

If you really don't want a Bimmer any longer, then I'd go with either the CLK500 or E500...
BMW ruined the M3 for me. I could not in my right mind buy that car and not think about all the bullshit it took to own it. To me the purchase of the car and knowing you have a good dealership behind you for repairs, etc. is important. BMW unfortunately is lettting their big head get in the way of the customer. The answer I got from BMW was basically that if I did not want the car that's fine, there's a ton of people waiting for an M3 so just step aside. When I told them what happened with the dealership their reaction was as if they get NOTHING BUT aggrivated callers complaining about dealers.

Ray Catena Mercedes, Jaguar, Infitniti, Lexus, Porsche & Astin Martin is a professional dealership where they know how to treat their customers. I went in there and did not mention a word of what happened at BMW or that I (at that point) still had an M3 on order. They treated me like gold and in a matter of minutes was in an E500 with a delivery specialist explaining the car to me.

Sorry, but I'm one of those people who believes in good customer service and I don't reward shitty customer service.
