Oil and ATF change at 44350 miles
Today, I did the ATF and Engine Oil change.
For the Engine Oil, I used 4.75 Qrts of Mobil 1 SuperSyn 5-30 and new over-sized filter Purolator PureOne PL24458.
For the tranny, I used 3 Qrts of Honda Z1 for the ATF and new washers. I was shocked how much black stuff there was on the magnet ATF draining plug
. Also, the ATF looked dark brown as dark as the engine oil.
I took samples from the engine oil and ATF to be sent and tested Blackstones Labs.
I had 3600 miles (6 moths) on the engine oil, and 15,000 miles on the ATF.
A quick test drive of the CLS and the tranny shifts again like new. Super smooth!
