hey guys , not sure how many people use race fuel at the track (or the street for that matter) or for people like Scalbert, Modaddict, Allmotor st all who are pushing the TLs/CLs tuning further along, but a few of us Audi guys have been playing around with some race fuel alternatives. Some guys use tolulene (a paint product of some kind) to make their own home brew. While this works, I've heard it's not so good for orings and other engine parts. We started talking about this race fuel concentrate a while ago and someone just tried it. Apparently it works pretty well as far as performance goes. I would think it might even be a good octane booster for you guys in CA who have to run 91 all the time. Just thought I would throw it out there. Seems to be a little cheaper than a tank of race fuel.

32oz mixed with 10gal of 93 will give you 104.

he still hasn't posted his timing logs, so I'll give an update when he does. Just to clarify, we have ECU programming for 91/93/100 and 104 octane fuel. In all cases boost is the same, but timing is more agressive for higher octane fuel. By "Wild 100" he is refferring to a more agressive software a few of us run with even more mid range and high end timing to go along with the better boost control devices we have. So the Wild 100 program is about as agressive as the regular 104 octane program we have.
