OBX Strut Bar does not fit WITH the stock bar...!!

Yep, the OBX strut bar is a replacment and not a compliment of the stock bar... In fact... it is aligned to go EXACTLY where the stock bar is....

And after giving a quick look in this windy and extreemly cold weather 28 degree that feels like 15 , I think It rather silly to remove the stock 4-point strut bar... and replace it with 2 points... It just does not make sense... even the CT titanium is a waste of money... (unless you are looking to save couple lbs and compromise the stiffness of the CL....)

Anyone who has an 98+ accord is interested in a new polished and shinny Strut Bar?

NT: if one can mod the mounting plate and shift the attaching pin 1" forward.. than it should fit fine in front of the Stock bar...

Instead of selling it. Here is what you can do.

You know how our strut bars are 4pt? from shock tower to shock tower. Then the other two goes into the vents right?

Well, what you can do is get the two parts that goes to the vents. Which they used on the Accord. It's two seperate pieces. The Accord never had a bar that went from shock tower to shock tower. Did I confuse you? I was looking for a picture, but I can't seem to find one that is bright enough to show it. Take a look at a stock Accord V6 engine bay, and you'll know what I mean.

I hope that helps. I'm not sure if it'll bolt up with the OBX piece. but it's worth a try.

I took a quick glance at OBX's website and they list 2 different types of strut bars. Which one do you have? Do you also think the lower tie bars fit our cars?
