Thats somewhat like Dinan's system. It mounts next to the foglight, under the bumper, and uses a carbon fiber tunnel. But it doesn't have a huge turn in it. This is probably one of the better CAI designes, because it acually places the intake low and at the front of the car, where the cold air is

Look at how much air that thing could suck up? Shit... doesnt even need to suck...

That thing doesnt need to be free flowing... air is getting rammed down its throat faster then it could be consumed anyway. lol

ok, first off, where's the air filter?? second, i agree with Nashua, it is restrictive...think logically according to physics...that pinched design gives air less of a chance to travel through to the engine, so u'll find air that's trapped inside the duct which causes drag and slows u down some...a CAI can be designed with a hole as wide as the car, but at some point, the hole has to narrow down to fit the intake manifold...the fact that there's more air trying to squeeze into a small hole defeats the purpose of having such a large hole, hence u have an underperforming CAI...what makes u fast obviously is the aerodynamics of the car among other things...having a duct in front of the car doesn't really help b/c it takes away from the aerodynamics (causes drag)...having a CAI underneath the car will access air below the car and won't cause that kind of drag...and that ends our physics lesson for today
