I know this has been asked many times, tried searching, but couldn't get a definitive answer. I found some Laser Iridium plugs (NOT IRIDIUM IX) for $30 bucks on craigslist for all 6 unused. IFR5E11, stock # 7994
I heard a lot of people in the TL and CL forums were using the Iridiums nowadays rather than the Platinums. Just wondering would this fit or not because different retailers have different part numbers and what not.
This is a really GOOD deal for these plugs they cost over 10 bucks a pop elsewhere lol...
Thanks

I think I found the answer to my own aforementioned question. The Laser Iridium uses a one-step warmer plug than the recommended heat range for the Type-S engine according this part number diagram I pulled off of NGK.
i.e.) IZFR6K11 vs IFR5E11 the former is a colder plug recommended in our engines.
Wouldn't know what might of happened in the long run if I would have ran those warmer plugs, but I will just stick to whats recommended.
