He had my car for a whole day (we traded cars), he loved my car. He gets out and is like damn that car is fast, and handles damn well. Yep, yours did well yourself.
IS300 is nothing more than a expensive overpriced Toyota. But it is nice looking. The CL-S and TL-S are also very nice looking.

Bullheaded, yes. But why bother with these guys? They're like the PL noobs. The smarter ones know better than to get into these things, although I'm a little dissapointed by scalbert's involvement. Normally I'm content with letting them group-jerk when this sort of thing come up.

that story is respectable, the 346 puts 265 to the wheels, and both is from a roll, not from the line, from the line, granted it would smoke us, but its the freeway, I know from experience myself where i have played around with them on the freeway.

It could have happened its not that crazy the guy has close to the same mods as me (Should be close to 250 Flywheel HP), if he's M/T he is even faster then me and I have caught at least two TL-S's (there are a lot of TL's near me almost like Civic's here) off guard, if he can drive I don't see why he wouldn't be a threat especially to a stock CL-S.
this guys story is no more crazy then the guy who says he beat the E46 M3 with his CL-S.

the guy on the IS board claim he beat a cl-s by 3 cars. I CAN BELIEVE IT. but how many runs did they do? was the cl-s a 6 speed? was he/she in sportshift? maybe he wasnt really racing? The problem is that there could be several factors that would cause the cl to lose. shift too early, was not in sportshift, didnt know how to drive a stick, or was just not even racing.

Bash on the IS00 all you want, but its still faster then your GS300 boat, I wouldn’t buy a stale Lexus model other then the IS300 and maybe a few of their SUV’s, the rest of the cars are designed for elderly feeling people who like to circle jerk to the L on the hood, in fact I would have rather they brought it over as the Toyota Altezza. No I intentionally bought the IS300 because of its Potential meaning it boosts great, corners better then a C5 Corvette, take one extra foot 100-0 then a Z06 stock and with a turbo kit will out run one on the freeway and in the Ľ mile…

OK guys... enough of the pissing contest. I have been a member of this board for almost two years. In this time, I have read many accounts, from at leat 80% of the board members, and they test drove the IS 300 before they purchased the CL-S. The CL-S has all of the included options, felt faster accelerating, and didn't handle too bad. It was a better value-- plain and simple. I have seen this same thread many times.
Anyways, I have no regrets. I love my CL-S. I love the acceleration... It is something I didn't get from the IS or the 330. I love the body style... It's unique. I did like the IS, but the more I look at the tail lights, the more it repulses me. It was the car I was going to buy before I drove the CL-S. Plain and simple- I'm happy with my purchase.
Straight line is everything in a semi-luxury sports sedan. No one ever races around the curvies. Even so, I bet my dumb crazy ass could beat an IS any day of the week. WHY??? CUZ I'M A CRAZY MO FO!
