Noise from sunroof when street driving (not talking about rattling)

anyone notice a low frequency airflow noise caused by the sunroof being open and traveling between 30-35 mph?

it gets kinda annoying at times. would the sunroof visor take care of it? and would the visor also make it quieter?

thanks.

I would like to know how to fix this as well. It comes from that piece in the front of the sunroof vibrating. The dealer supposedly replaced mine with a better version or something, but it still makes the noise. If you could make the piece stiffer, I think it would stop making the noise.

I get the noise too. I remember reading some threads about the "chopper" sound and that it's only affected in some 01's.

I get that but not until like 70mph and at that point I just close it anyway because of the air noise.

I just removed that metal piece completely but I still get the "chopper" sound sometimes... Very annoying...

I heard if you bug the dealer enough they'll replace that with a new version(stronger). I have a factory installed acura sunroof visor and it cut the sound down emensely. There's now more sound when I use the tilt function versus the window pulled all the way open!

Becareful though, the sunroof's opening is cramped to begin with, and the overhang of the visor makes it even smaller.

overall I like it better with.

Wind deflector

I really dont care about the noise. I deinstalled the OEM wind deflector since day one, and is available for sale for anyone who wants it.
