no recalls?!

I called into acura and provided my vin#

apparently there are ZERO recalls on my car?!
Not even the jet cooler?! Or cheap piece of crap rotors?
Or any other problems?!

Anywayz, well my rotors seem to be starting to warp. I hope they will replace or re-surface them for me under warranty, but they said if I want brakes done at the same time, I have to buy them at $90 I hope they are OEM parts, cuz i've seen from dealers now that they are using cheap aftermarket ones too.

Last time I paid for my front 02 honda accord coupe v6 brake pads were like 160 so... I don't know... and those were OEM

Should I just pay them the $90 to do it?! Well I said you are going to have to take off my brake pads anywayz so you can change them for me too.

Go into an acura dealer, ask them to run your VIN, and tell them you want to see the printout. It will tell you what has been done, and if anything is outstanding on it.

Exactly, I took my CLS to the dealer last Wed. to have the headlights properly adjusted and when they ran my vin # which seems to be done everytime the car comes in they saw that I had outstanding recalls. They didn't even question me as to whether or not I wanted them corrected, they sent me home within 20min with a rental.

Check the Acura Owners Link for recalls. You will need your VIN and to setup a User Id and Password.

Only a TSB.

If you have an '03 CL-P you might not be included in the recall because your car was made with one of the "fixed" transmissions.
