Just bought my wife a 540i and the snow scared the shit out of her cuz we all know German cars suck in the snow. She wants to drive the TL in bad weather and she says she's too embarrassed to drive my TL cuz it's too "pimped out". So, I have to take all my shit off. Man, I lost a shit load of money doing this crap. At least I get to drive her car more often, I guess. What do you guys think about the BMW 330 Covertible. Always wanted a covertible.

Do you have winter tires on your 540i? I have a set of Michelin XM+S 330 (not the greatest winter tires but reccomended by the dealer) in the stock 235 45 17 size and the car handles and brakes as well as my S4. The S4 is better when accelerating because of AWD but if you drive carefully it is actually an excellent car to drive year round! I live in Alberta Canada too where we only have 2 seasons, 3 months of summer and 9 months of winter

spiroh,
"autofile" is Peter Lufrano, owner of www.theautophile.com he is truly one of the few high end audio guys around. I am a memeber of Sounddomain forum under autophile1 and under the rec.audio.car newsgroup under "B"
Nootch,
Yeah I really like the S4. I may be selling though, that E46 M3 looks VERY tempting!
