Okay so thursday night I left from VA to NYC to party. well on I just gotta tell you NJ Turnpike is just fooken AWESOME for topspeed/ and yes I know its bad but racing.

Well going up to NYC I saw this last gen max and it had altezza lights and fake blue headlights w/ NY plates. uuuak, but wat does this mean? well this fooker wanted to race but I just kept crusing at 85mph. well after about 10 miles of being on my ass I decided to show him what the S was made of. So we ended up racing about 40miles to NYC and everytime I just let him line up next to me and held gear in 2nd or 3rd and just launched on him. As we almost came near NY he rolled down his window and he says

" I LOVE THE NITROUS YOU GOT!!"

Im like
"I ain't got no NITROUS its ALL MOTOR"

then blasted away till 140 and left his ass smoken behind.

oh and if it wasn't for the 8500 my ass would of been fried. sure as hell did a good job of picking up X band

careful when driving on the turnpike...there are always alot of partol cars stationed there catchin speeders....also the parkway....i drive up and down the pike alot..there are always cops hidden in the brush.....be careful...

Yeah & they still use X band alot. Must have been at night. That stupid turnpike is always jammed when I drive to NYC.

I agree that the NJ Turnpike and the GSP are great roads to race on but just be really careful. I know most of the places that the cops hide in but since you are not familiar, thank god for your radar.

BTW, just ask Infamuz. He got a speeding ticket on the way to a meet coming from southern jersey on the turnpike.

Agreed, NJ Turnpike is nice. Here's the worst speed trap for out of staters.

Northbound: After exit 8, before exit 8A where the road splits into the cars and trucks lanes. In the grassy median between the North and South sides there is always a cop car, sometimes 2. It's actually worse in the Southbound direction at the same location.

If you're headed to NYC, the best place to race is on the extension after you get off for 14/a/b/c. It's the bridge that overlooks Manhattan and Brooklyn. Same thing for the way back.

Also, NJ State Troopers can be real dicks, especially if you got out of state plates.

Bonus: The worst place to race on the Parkway is by exit 131 near the Metro Park exit and the Parkway is generally loaded with pigs.
